Dissemination event

You find out when you reach the top, you’re at the the bottom …

During the final dissemination event we presented our journey and the outcomes of the project to around 25 participants. Representatives from the workgroup took the honours to inspire all attendees to involve youth leaders more in sports. The presentation can be seen in the file below. After the session, which was also attended by representatives of the EU, a fruitful discussion took place adding to the outputs presented. We received compliments from both the Eurohockey management, the participating hockey federations and representatives from sport related entities who showed up to learn more about the programme. In December/January Eurohockey and the project members will share the programmes with all stakeholders with the aim to start applying both youth leadership programmes in Europe. We express many thanks first and foremost to all partners who participated in this project and to the EU for their co-funding and their support. The meeting was streamed and is available on the below link: Aspiring and Inspiring Youth Leaders Multiplier event Brussels November 2023 (youtube.com)

Referring back to the title of this article: though it’s the official end of the project, now the real  implementation starts. Many members of the consortium have committed to stay connected to the coming year where we will launch all programmes. Embedment is secured via the Eurohockey Institute led by Tom Pedersen and Cameron Findler.

Thanks to everybody who contributed to this project. It was a great ride!
